To be considered for admission, one must:
- Be male
- Be alcohol and/or drug dependent;
- Be 18 years of age or older;
- Meet the criteria of the Pennsylvania's Client Placement Criteria (PCPC);
- Be willing to participate in our treatment program.
We generally admit men who have had previous treatment but have failed to maintain sobriety. The Good Friends, Inc. treatment program enables our admitted client to expand their addiction knowledge while working on creating and solidifying the support systems necessary to achieve and maintain a solid recovery network.
We maintain a 25-bed capacity.

Treatment
Our solid program of recovery includes substance abuse treatment and emphasizes protective and supportive elements of family living while encouraging and providing opportunities for independent growth, all in a supportive environment.
This is a live-in/work-out environment with stays typically lasting three to six months.
Services include group and individual therapy, relapse prevention, job placement and much more.
